Enjoy Halloween in South Walton

Oct. 24: Hocus Pocus at the Village of Baytowne Wharf: 6:30 p.m.

Grab your lawn chairs and enjoy this Throwback Thursday featured film that puts anyone in the Halloween spirit! The cost to attend the movie showing is free.

 

Oct. 25: Hub-O-Ween: 5 p.m.

Come out to The Hub and enjoy trick-or-treating through The Hub & The Shops of The Hub followed by pumpkin decorating and a DJ Dance Party on the stage.

 

Oct. 26: 10th Annual Halloweener Derby: 10 a.m.

Head to Seaside for the hilarious races and costume contest featuring some of the area’s top dogs, including our very own “Bud!” This fundraiser brings together our four-legged friends for a day of fun in the sun from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

Oct. 31: 16th Annual Witch Ride: 7 a.m.

The Witches of South Walton are set the host the 16th Annual Witch Ride presented by Pizza by the Sea, on Wednesday, October 31 to support the mission of local nonprofit, the Children’s Volunteer Health Network (CVHN).

Those participating can bring their own bike or rent one from one of our Bike Rental Partners. All participants should be at the Gulf Place Amphitheater by 6 a.m. the morning of the ride. The Witches will be leaving the Gulf Place Amphitheater at 7 a.m., heading west along 30A for about 1.5 miles before looping back for the Gathering Brunch shortly after 8 a.m. Ticketed riders can expect to enjoy a leisurely morning bike ride followed by brunch, which includes delicious food and beverages, the opportunity to win incredible raffle and silent auction items, and compete in the Best Dress, Most Witchy Cackle & Best Broom (bike) decor competitions.

Admittance to the event is limited to the first 350 to register. Advanced Registration is open for  $50.

 

Oct. 31: Halloween on the Boolevard 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Families are invited to trick-or-treat throughout the Town Center on Halloween where stores and restaurants will pass out candy and other treats to children. Dress up in your favorite costume and fill your bag in a safe pedestrian-friendly place. This event is free and open to the public.

 

Oct. 31: Trick or Treat Street: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The public is invited to the Village of Baytowne Wharf for a fun night of trick or treating! Attendants will stroll through the Village streets in their spookiest costume and visit merchants for treats. Steve Hall will play music on the main stage, and Coconut Kidz will be offering a free face painting and entry into a costume contest. The night will end with a firework display at 8 p.m.

 

Oct. 31: Monster Mash at FOOW: 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

You’re invited to a Halloween-Themed Costume Party! This spooky dinner will feature deliciously ghoul-inspired food, such as bone marrow and other mouthwatering delights. Open to the public; $75 per person includes fun fare and a bone-chilling cocktail. Reservations are preferred.

 

Oct. 31: SOLARIS Halloween Dinner Cruise: 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

What better way to celebrate Halloween than on a yacht? There are no tricks, only treats aboard this dinner cruise on Halloween Night filled with live music, a chef-prepared menu, and a costume contest! Arrive dressed to impress. The costume contest winner will win four tickets for any future Dinner Cruise aboard Solaris! Grab a cocktail from the full-service bar as you mingle with guests for a festive time on the water. Enjoy the sweeping views and coastal breezes from the sky deck. Then, indulge in a three-course meal including prime steaks and fresh Gulf seafood while listening to live music. The 125-foot SOLARIS yacht is docked at the all-inclusive Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in Northwest Florida. Reservations required online or over the phone!

 

Oct. 31: Red Fish Taco Halloween Bash with Forrest Williams Band: 7 p.m.

Join Red Fish Taco for a Halloween celebration with live music from the Forrest Williams Band and delicious food and drinks. Get creative with your friends and come dressed in your favorite ghostly getup.

Oct. 31: 6th Annual Halloween Zombie Stomp at The Bay: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Adults are invited to join the costume contest during the night anytime from 7-10 p.m. The winner of the costume contest will take home $500. There will also be second and third place prizes. Judges will announce all the winners around 10 p.m. (must be present to win). Guests can dance the night away on the beach with DJ 30A and hop in the photo booth to commemorate the scariest night of the year.

Nov. 1: Inaugural Día de los Muertos Fiesta at NBTC: 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

This event at North Beach Tortilla Co. will feature live music, food and drink specials, and games on the beach. Dance, drink and eat as you honor loved ones who have passed away.
