Hospitality Heroes Award Winners Announced
WALTON COUNTY, Fla. – February 8, 2022 – Visit South Walton, the Northwest Florida Chapter of the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association and Destin – Fort Walton Beach teamed up to honor area Hospitality Heroes during an awards event and dinner at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 2, at The Henderson Beach Resort & Spa.
Nominees for the award work in the Hospitality and Tourism industry in Walton or Okaloosa Counties and consistently demonstrate a willingness to go above and beyond. The awards recognize the hard-working individuals who help our visitors feel welcome and at home.
“We are proud to support, honor and recognize these men and women who are the true backbone of the visitor experience in Walton County,” said Jason Cutshaw, senior director of the Walton County Tourism Department. “Tourism is the main economic driver in the county and with these talented and dedicated individuals leading the charge, we are in good hands. The Hospitality Heroes award winners each receive a plaque and recognition as a local Hospitality Hero. Walton County winners include:

Best Manager | Hotel/Resort Jeff Welch, Hilton Garden Inn Miramar Beach
Best Front of House | Restaurant Maggie White, Slick Lips Seafood
Best Culinary Manager Robert Preston, The Bay
Best Sales & Marketing Director Stacey Brady, Grand Boulevard at Sandestin
Veteran in Hospitality Andrew Isolano, The Bay (this is a Military veteran)
