Keep Walton County Beautiful Hosted
International Coastal Cleanup® Event

 

Keep Walton County Beautiful, a local affiliate of Keep America Beautiful dedicated to preserving the county’s natural environment, hosted its International Coastal Cleanup® event on Saturday, September 21. During the event, close to 90 volunteers collected 3,500 pieces of trash weighing nearly 400 pounds.

The Coastal Conservancy started International Coastal Cleanup® more than 35 years ago to collect and document litter across coastal communities.
