Walton County, Fla. – April 17 – The Walton County Tourism Department won a bronze award in the Advertising – Consumer/Group Sales/ Travel Trade category for the “Moments” print campaign in February at the Adrian Awards Celebration, hosted by the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International in Los Angeles. The HSMAI recognized the best in hospitality advertising, digital, PR/communications, and integrated campaigns.
Taking place on the West Coast for the very first time, the Adrian Awards celebrated the most creative and successful campaigns in travel marketing and the people behind the work with more than 400 industry and agency executives on hand.
The Walton County Tourism Department worked with its marketing agency to develop a new print campaign strategically guided by research findings, intending to place South Walton into the consideration set of the target audience and ultimately encourage them to book a trip.
The “Moments” campaign is designed to give the reader a reason to pause, reflect and see themselves in the moments featured within the ad creative. These few seconds stopped in time will ultimately place South Walton at the forefront of their decision making during the inspiration stage of travel planning.
